We are seeking a skilled and motivated Emergency Medicine Physician to join a reputable facility in the scenic White Mountains of Northern New Hampshire. In this role, you'll provide expert emergency care to over 9,800 adult and pediatric patients annually, supported by a seasoned team of emergency nurses and administrators. The department operates 24/7, with 24-hour shifts (9 am to 9 am), giving you a balanced work schedule and the chance to make a meaningful impact around the clock. Significant board eligibility is accepted, and New Hampshire licensure is required to be considered.

Key responsibilities include managing approximately 11,000 annual patient visits, collaborating with a comprehensive team of healthcare professionals, and utilizing available clinical resources, including APP support from 10 am to 10 pm. Additional consultation from specialists within the hospital and nearby trauma centers is readily accessible, ensuring you can deliver the best care possible. The hospital's internal security measures promote a safe and private environment for staff and patients.

Required Skills:

• Active NH medical license in hand
• Board eligible in emergency medicine or equivalent certification
• Proven ability to assess and manage diverse emergency cases efficiently
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking capabilities

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working in rural or critical access hospital settings
• Bilingual abilities or additional language proficiency
• Familiarity with EHR systems and emergency protocols
• Prior experience in a Level 1 trauma or similar high-acuity environment

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Residency or comparable experience in emergency medicine
• At least 2 years of emergency department experience preferred

Other Requirements:

• Valid medical license in New Hampshire
• Certification in ACLS, ATLS, and PALS recommended
• Willingness to work 24-hour shifts as scheduled
• Ability to obtain and maintain required state and federal clearances and certifications
