Diagnostic Radiology/Nuclear Medicine - Pediatric Radiology

This vital role offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art imaging technologies at Children’s Hospital of Michigan, serving a diverse and dynamic pediatric patient population. As a Pediatric Radiologist, you'll play a critical role in diagnosing and guiding treatment plans through high-quality imaging interpretation in a collaborative environment that values excellence and innovation.

Required Skills:

  • Fellowship training in Pediatric Radiology
  • Certification or eligibility for CAQ in Pediatric Radiology
  • Proficiency in reading X-ray, Ultrasound, Stat CT, and MRI cases
  • Ability to perform onsite coverage and respond promptly during scheduled shifts
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent diagnostic acumen
  • Capable of handling urgent and complex cases effectively

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with pediatric interventional procedures
  • Familiarity with hospital-based radiology workflows
  • Additional certifications (e.g., DR, NM)

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Board-certified or eligible Pediatric Radiologist
  • Prior experience in pediatric radiology settings
  • Fellowship-trained in Pediatric Radiology

Other Requirements:
  • CAQ certification or eligibility in Pediatric Radiology
  • Clean malpractice history
  • Availability for approximately 1 week of onsite coverage per month (preferably Mon-Sun, with flexibility to accept Thurs-Sun)
  • Willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to read and interpret a broad spectrum of pediatric imaging studies
