Join Our Team as a Diagnostic Radiology/Nuclear Medicine Specialist – Radiology-Diagnostic

Required Skills:
- Valid medical license with appropriate certification in radiology/nuclear medicine
- Proven experience in diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine imaging
- Strong ability to interpret complex imaging cases accurately and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with emergency physicians and residents
- Ability to manage case logs diligently and maintain compliance with reporting standards
- Capable of working independently in a remote environment
- Must possess or be eligible for a DEA waiver; DEA registration not required for remote shifts
- Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred but not mandatory for remote work
- Submission of a recent NPDB report (within the last 30 days)
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience in ER or emergency medicine radiology
- Experience teaching residents or medical students
- Familiarity with tele-radiology platforms and remote reporting technologies
- Adaptability to fast-paced hospital environments and high-volume case loads
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with board certification in Radiology or Nuclear Medicine
- Minimum of 3 years of post-residency experience in diagnostic radiology
- Prior experience covering emergency department radiology shifts preferred
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work 1-3 weeks per month, including overnight ER shifts (11 p.m. – 7 a.m. EST)
- Covering approximately 80-130 cases per 8-hour shift
- Maintain up-to-date licensure and certifications
- Submission of case logs with bid
- Must submit a recent (within 30 days) NPDB report
- A clean malpractice record is necessary
- No travel required; remote work setup preferred
