Join Our Team as a Diagnostic Radiology/Nuclear Medicine Specialist – Radiology-Diagnostic

Required Skills:

• Valid medical license with appropriate certification in radiology/nuclear medicine
• Proven experience in diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine imaging
• Strong ability to interpret complex imaging cases accurately and efficiently
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with emergency physicians and residents
• Ability to manage case logs diligently and maintain compliance with reporting standards
• Capable of working independently in a remote environment
• Must possess or be eligible for a DEA waiver; DEA registration not required for remote shifts
• Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred but not mandatory for remote work
• Submission of a recent NPDB report (within the last 30 days)

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in ER or emergency medicine radiology
• Experience teaching residents or medical students
• Familiarity with tele-radiology platforms and remote reporting technologies
• Adaptability to fast-paced hospital environments and high-volume case loads

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with board certification in Radiology or Nuclear Medicine
• Minimum of 3 years of post-residency experience in diagnostic radiology
• Prior experience covering emergency department radiology shifts preferred

Other Requirements:

• Availability to work 1-3 weeks per month, including overnight ER shifts (11 p.m. – 7 a.m. EST)
• Covering approximately 80-130 cases per 8-hour shift
• Maintain up-to-date licensure and certifications
• Submission of case logs with bid
• Must submit a recent (within 30 days) NPDB report
• A clean malpractice record is necessary
• No travel required; remote work setup preferred
