Join Our Team as an Anesthesiologist – Provide Critical Care in a Dynamic Hospital Setting
We are seeking experienced and dedicated Anesthesiologists to deliver exceptional anesthesia services in a busy acute care hospital environment. Required Skills:
- Board Certification in Anesthesiology
- Recent clinical experience in acute care hospitals (not primarily ambulatory surgery centers)
- Proven expertise in operative anesthesia support
- Availability to commit to at least 2 weeks per month, including Fridays
- Ability to provide 10-hour weekday shifts and support in-house call coverage on weekends and nights
- Experience working with Epic electronic medical records system
- Valid and clean malpractice and NPDB records
- Willingness to adhere to hospital and departmental protocols
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience in general anesthesiology in a hospital setting
- Familiarity with pediatric patients (age 1 year and older)
- Additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS
- Experience with anesthesia support staff coordination
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Active board certification in Anesthesiology
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant post-residency clinical experience in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
- Commitment to providing coverage on some Fridays (mandatory)
- Ability to perform general anesthesia procedures; not qualified for sedation-only roles
- Support staff includes anesthesiologists, NPs, nursing staff, anesthesia techs, and LPNs
- Positions are full-time, with optional overtime after 50 hours/week
- Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (competitive package as part of overall benefits)
- Start Date: May 4, 2026
- Travel, licensure, certification reimbursements, and other applicable expenses are covered
- Must have current licensure and certifications for medical practice
