Join Our Team as a Urology Physician and Make a Difference

We are seeking a dedicated Urology Physician to provide expert care on a call coverage basis at a Level 4 trauma hospital. Starting May 15, 2026, this opportunity offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment, supporting adult patients with a variety of general urology cases, including occasional OR procedures. Required Skills:

  • Board Certification in Urology
  • Valid State Medical License (IMLC or eligible for WV temporary license)
  • DEA certification
  • Minimum of 2 years Urology clinical experience
  • Proficiency in all general urology skills
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Ability to manage adult patient care independently

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience working in trauma centers
  • Prior experience with Cerner EMR system
  • Ability to handle emergency procedures such as stent placements, stone management, and clot evacuations

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • MD or DO degree with residency in Urology
  • 2 or more years of post-residency practice in Urology

Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to obtain licensure in West Virginia, with credentialing completed within 60 days
  • Availability for scheduled weekend call coverage (not including Thanksgiving week)
  • Ability to work 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM Friday to 7:00 AM Monday)

This position offers an hourly rate of $3,120.00, with weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), paid sick leave, licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements as applicable. The role requires minimal weekend patient support, with flexible dates throughout the year, providing a rewarding work-life balance.
