Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pathology Physician to provide high-quality diagnostic services in a dynamic setting. This full-time position involves reviewing approximately 140 cases daily, including frozen specimens and fine-needle aspirates (FNA), with no autopsy responsibilities. Operating Monday through Friday during daytime hours, this role offers a stable schedule and an engaging work environment. Required Skills

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification or eligibility in Pathology
• Valid medical license in the applicable jurisdiction
• Proven experience in surgical pathology and FNA cytology
• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong diagnostic and interpretive abilities
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to manage high-volume case loads efficiently

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with frozen section analysis
• Prior experience in a hospital or reference laboratory setting
• Knowledge of emerging pathology technologies and techniques
• Certifications in subspecialty areas such as Cytopathology or Hematopathology

Preferred Education and Experience

• Completion of a pathology residency program
• At least 2 years of post-residency experience in a clinical setting
• Prior experience handling a high case volume

Other Requirements

• Compliance with all federal, state, and local licensing and certification standards
• Willingness to work 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
• Travel reimbursements and applicable licensure or certification expenses covered when appropriate
