• Inpatient Neurohospitalist - Vascular / Stroke Focus

  Core Clinical Skills & Expertise

  • Acute evaluation and management of ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke
  • Expertise in acute stroke protocols, including thrombolysis and post-thrombectomy care
  • Neurological management of cerebrovascular emergencies and inpatient consults
  • Interpretation of neuroimaging (CT, CTA, MRI/MRA) in acute neurologic settings
  • Participation in stroke call coverage and collaboration with emergency medicine, neurosurgery, and interventional radiology
  • Management of inpatient neurological complications and secondary stroke prevention
  • Active involvement in stroke quality initiatives, metrics, and accreditation standards (e.g., Comprehensive or Primary Stroke Center)
  • Optional Tele-stroke coverage
