Required Skills:

  • Current and unrestricted North Carolina medical license
  • Active NC DEA registration with NC address
  • NC Medicaid, NC Medicare/PECOS enrollment
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Recent case logs demonstrating active obstetric and gynecological practice within the past 24 months
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
  • Proven experience delivering babies, performing emergent GYN procedures, and managing high-risk deliveries
  • No recent or open malpractice cases
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently on 24-hour on-call basis

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience in hospitalist roles or high-volume delivery centers
  • Familiarity with hospital-level maternal-fetal medicine protocols
  • Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
  • Additional certifications in fetal monitoring or advanced obstetric interventions

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training program completion
  • At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology
  • Experience in high-risk pregnancy management is highly advantageous

Other Requirements:
  • Must have active NC license and NC DEA credential
  • Must be within a 20-minute radius of the hospital per bylaws
  • Ability to attend to emergent cases on a 24/7 basis
  • Willingness to participate in hospital-based call schedule
  • Provider must be enrolled with PECOS and have recent hospital case documentation
  • Travel costs capped at $500; all-inclusive compensation preferred or including dedicated gratis hours
