In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality psychiatric care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring the well-being of our patients. The position offers a challenging yet rewarding environment where your expertise can truly make a difference.

Required Skills:

  • Valid nurse practitioner license in the state
  • Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) preferred
  • Proven experience in inpatient psychiatric settings
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with crisis intervention techniques
  • Knowledge of current mental health treatment modalities
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Bilingual abilities are advantageous

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Minimum of 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience, preferably in inpatient settings
  • Prior experience working within a hospital or behavioral health facility

Other Requirements:
  • Local candidates preferred due to the nature of inpatient work
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training is a Mass State requirement; candidates should be aware prior to hire
  • Ability to work starting from February 23, 2026, for approximately 4-6 weeks
  • Certification in CPR and other relevant credentials as required
