Join Our Team as a Physical Medicine Rehabilitation Physician – Make a Lasting Impact in Pediatric Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Medicine Rehabilitation (PMR) Physician to provide critical coverage for a renowned healthcare facility. This opportunity allows you to contribute your expertise to pediatric patients, ensuring optimal recovery and quality of life while working within a supportive, collaborative environment. Your role will be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of patient care during this temporary coverage period.

Required Skills

• Board Certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (preferred but not mandatory)
• Valid South Carolina Medical License
• Current BLS and PALS certifications
• Proficiency with the Epic EMR system
• Excellent communication, supervision, and teamwork skills
• Ability to supervise and collaborate with PAs, therapists, nurses, and other team members
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient-centered care
• Clean background and clear NPI number

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience in pediatric rehabilitation or similar settings
• Familiarity with hospital-based rehab equipment and tools
• Previous locum or temporary coverage experience
• Ability to participate in team conferences and multidisciplinary discussions

Preferred Education and Experience

• MD or DO with specialization or training in Rehabilitation Medicine
• Minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience in pediatric or adult rehab settings
• Prior involvement in multidisciplinary team environments

Other Requirements

• Availability for coverage from June 19, 2026, to June 29, 2026
• Willingness to supervise PAs and be involved in team meetings
• No travel outside of local arrangements unless eligible for billable travel reimbursements
• Commitment to providing face-to-face patient care at least twice weekly as per program requirements
