We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team and provide exceptional mental health care to our community. This position offers a consistent daytime schedule allowing you to make a significant impact while maintaining personal and professional equilibrium.

Schedule:

  • Standard Hours: 20 hours per week 
  • Shift: Primarily daytime hours
  • Weekend & Holiday Work: Required as needed to ensure continuity of care
  • On-Call: On-call commitment is required

In this role, you will be a vital part of our multidisciplinary team, responsible for conducting psychiatric evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing medication management. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments to diagnose mental health disorders.
  • Develop and manage individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and other healthcare professionals.
  • Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications, adjusting as necessary.
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to our dedicated team of mental health professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records.

Qualifications:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
  • Current, unrestricted state medical license.
  • Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-focused care.

Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
