Position Overview
The General Surgery PA will work under the supervision of a board-certified general surgeon and be an integral member of a highly collaborative surgical team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing acute and chronic patient care, including patient histories and physical exams
- Performing pre- and post-operative patient management
- Wound care and suturing
- Monitoring therapies and prescribing appropriate medications
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Assisting in general surgery procedures
- Provide robotic surgery assistance
Our General Surgery practice has a robust regional referral base and is supported by an extensive primary care network within the UHS system. The team currently includes11 surgeonsand7 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). UHS strongly supports APP utilization and provides exceptional clinical and administrative support to optimize daily workflow and patient care.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary range:$136,900-$159,500
