Position: Child Adolescent Psychiatrist + Unit Director
Location: Anchorage, AK
Join North Star Behavioral Health Services in Anchorage, AK, as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with an optional Unit Medical Director appointment. We've been a leading provider of behavioral health services in Alaska since 1984, prioritizing family support through healing environments in acute care and residential treatment programs.
Duties
- Provide care for child and adolescent patients (ages 5-18) in the inpatient and residential treatment program.
- Daily average caseload 12-14.
- Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations, assessments, treatment team leadership, and patient discharges following hospital policies.
- Monday-Friday schedule with daytime hours and shared call once per month.

Qualifications:
- MD/DO degree from an accredited program.
- BE/BC Child Adolescent Psychiatry required.
- Licensed to practice in the State of Alaska or ability to obtain required medical license.
- Meets all credentialing criteria.
Compensation/Benefits:
- Compensation range: $380,000 + additional potential earnings through productivity bonus structure.
