The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is accepting applications for a full-time, non-invasive cardiologist at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the Clinical Attending/Clinical Educator pathways. UAMS is the state’s only academic center with a rapidly growing Cardiovascular program. The Cardiology Division consists of 15 staff Cardiologists, 18 fellows (12 general, 3 Interventional, 2 Electrophysiology fellows, 1 structural imaging fellow) and 9 advanced practice providers who provide state of the art cardiac services including structural cardiology, cardiac electrophysiology, and advanced heart failure.

- Busy echocardiography laboratory with expertise in all forms of advanced echocardiography including 3D echo, strain and structural echocardiography
- Collaborative practice with Radiology in Nuclear Cardiology, cardiac CT and cardiac MRI
- Dedicated closed CVICU and a growing structural, ECMO and cardiac surgery program

Minimum requirements:
- Completion of an ACGME accredited Cardiology fellowship
- Board certified or board eligible in Cardiology
- COCATS level 2 training (or above) in all aspects of echocardiography.
