OB/GYN Hospitalist
The UNC Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB-GYN Hospitalist at UNC Women’s Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC. This is a full-time, non-tenure track clinical faculty position.
Highlights
- Join a multidisciplinary team including 3 other hospitalist OB/GYNs as well as 5 inpatient-only CNMs. Our Labor and Delivery Unit is always staffed by two attending physicians from a pool of hospitalists, generalists, and MFMs.
- Schedule: twelve to fourteen 12-hour shifts per month (including nights, weekends and holidays).
- Appointment rank commensurate with qualifications and experience

Responsibilities
- Clinical: Labor and Delivery, gynecologic consults, and gynecologic emergencies
- Teaching: teach medical students and OB-GYN residents
Requirements & Qualifications
- MD or DO required
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Completed ACGME-approved 4-year OB/GYN residency
- Preferred: Previous OB/GYN hospitalist experience or training, a track record of strong clinical competence and independent practice
