Were seeking a passionate and driven Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our Primary Care Float Pool team in Muskegon, MI. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Opportunity Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
  • Specialty: Primary Care (must be able to see all ages)
  • Location: Provider will cover various THMG Primary Care offices in the Muskegon/Lakeshore area
  • Office hours: varies, primarily Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (but some offices provider will cover at open at 7am and some offices close at 7pm)
  • Additional details:
    • The provider will cover their own in basket as well as the provider they are covering for in the office.
    • The provider will have an MA assigned at each office they are assisting at.

Requirements

  • Experience preferred and comfortable with working at multiple offices
  • APPs: Board certified in specialty prior to employment
  • Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA license
  • ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

  • Providing direct patient care
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Participating in teaching and mentoring
  • Documenting in Epic EMR
  • Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
  • Supporting community health efforts
