The Opportunity
We are hiring a Full-Time Internal Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive ambulatory medical services to patients and families with a wide range of healthcare needs.
This is an outpatient-focused role within a collaborative, mission-centered clinic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive ambulatory medical services within the scope of Internal Medicine for prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease
- Examine patients for symptoms of organic or congenital disorders
- Determine the nature and extent of injury or illness using diagnostic imaging and laboratory testing
- Prescribe medications and recommend dietary and activity programs based on diagnosis
- Refer patients to medical specialists when appropriate
- Assist clinic administration in developing and implementing programs relevant to Native American healthcare
- Participate in in-service education programs for clinic health professionals
- Maintain confidentiality, security, and integrity of patient data
- Maintain licensure and required certifications
Qualifications
- Alignment with OKCICs vision, mission, and core values
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
- Documentation of completion of accredited residency in Family Medicine
- Unrestricted professional license in the State of Oklahoma
- Board-certified or Board-eligible through the American Board of Family Medicine
- Current CPR certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
