Job Summary:
As a pivotal leader within our clinical operations, the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Site Director will serve as a cornerstone in enhancing the quality of care, operational efficiency, and professional development at the designated site. This role demands exceptional clinical leadership and mentorship, collaborating closely with APPs and the Medical Director to refine and elevate departmental functions. The APP Site Director will be instrumental in bridging communication between APPs, the physician team, and the corporate office, ensuring that patient satisfaction and productivity metrics are consistently achieved.
Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position if hired to work is $150,000 to $190,000 per year.
The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s educational background, skills, and professional experience
Essential Functions of the Job:
Tasks:
- Monthly EHM Leadership Meeting
- Individual Site Department Meetings
- Monthly communication with APP Regional Director
- Responsible for APP performance evaluations in conjunction with site director
- Staffing, scheduling, and payroll
Administration
- Administrative Oversight: Provide robust administrative support, including oversight of scheduling, payroll approvals, and PTO requests. Ensure seamless coordination for Leaves of Absence, Status Changes, and Resignations with Human Resources.
- Operational Excellence: Partner with the HM Director on annual APP evaluations and performance-related matters. Be a part of hospital committees and grow the department within the hospital.
- Talent Management: Play a crucial role in hiring, interviewing and ensure timely and effective communication with the recruiting team.
- Professional Development: Facilitate ongoing professional development for APPs through mentoring, observation, and development and oversight of site-specific onboarding. Educate APPs on appropriate patient documentation.
- Medical Education: Support medical education efforts for students and post-graduate fellows, where applicable.
Clinical
- Clinical Excellence: Deliver high-quality primary health care and provide comprehensive care with an emphasis on early detection and disease prevention.
- Guidance and Support: Provide expert guidance on clinical issues, ensuring the highest standard of care and support for Associate Practitioners.
Knowledge and Skills
- Exceptional Communication: Demonstrate superior communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective leadership and collaboration.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to support various administrative and reporting functions.
- Responsiveness: Exhibit outstanding responsiveness and availability to address any emergent needs or concerns.
Education and Work Experience
- Advanced Clinical Acumen: Possess extensive clinical experience and expertise.
- Board Certification: Maintain appropriate board certification to ensure compliance with professional standards.
Physical Requirements
- Travel: Willingness to travel to RWJBH offices and sites as required.
