  • Experience: Minimum 2 years trauma surgery experience or completion of a surgical fellowship preferred; no recent graduates
  • Licensure/Certifications: Valid Colorado Physician Assistant license, BLS/ACLS recommended
Pay & Benefits
  • Annual Salary: $136,822 – $179,379 (based on experience)
  • Additional Incentives: Up to $10,000 annually via Quality Value Incentive Plan (QVIP)

What You’ll Do
  • Provide overnight trauma and emergency general surgery care
  • Manage trauma admissions and inpatient cases
  • Conduct patient evaluations, develop care plans, and interpret diagnostics
  • Assist trauma surgeons with procedures and resuscitation efforts
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Document all patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and operational performance metrics
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and leadership opportunities
What You Need
  • Current Colorado Physician Assistant license
  • Minimum 2 years of trauma surgery experience or completion of a surgical fellowship
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and team collaboration skills
  • Ability to autonomously handle complex cases and multitask effectively
