Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Cardiology
- Valid North Carolina State Medical License
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in cardiology
- Proficiency in Bread & Butter Cardiology procedures (non-invasive)
- Strong clinical skills with excellent patient communication
- Ability to work night shifts as per schedule
- EMR proficiency, specifically with EPIC
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with hospital-based cardiology care
- Additional certifications such as ACLS or BLS
- Familiarity with advanced cardiovascular imaging
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical Degree (MD) from an accredited institution
- Prior hospital-based cardiology practice
- Experience working in a large hospital environment with diverse patient populations
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work night shifts, including holidays with overtime pay ($298/hr rate, 1.5x on holidays)
- Credentialing process completion within 60-90 days
- No licensing assistance provided
