Join Our Team as an Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology Specialist
Are you a dedicated Hematology and Oncology physician seeking a rewarding locum opportunity? We invite you to become a vital part of our outpatient clinic in Kennewick, Washington, from May through August, with the potential for extension. This full-time role offers a unique chance to deliver high-quality care in a collaborative environment, making a real difference in patients' lives.
As a key member of our team, you will provide expert hematology and oncology services, working Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with no call responsibility. Overtime opportunities are available after 40 hours per week. We are also open to candidates able to work three weeks per month, though full-time availability is preferred. Please only submit candidates available for at least three weeks per month.
Required Skills:
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Hematology and Oncology
- Valid medical license for Washington State
- Proven experience in outpatient Hematology and Oncology care
- Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with outpatient oncology treatment protocols
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years’ clinical experience in Hematology and Oncology
- Previous locum or outpatient practice experience is advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work the specified schedule (Monday-Friday, 8a-5p)
- Ability to travel to and from the clinic location if necessary
- Valid state medical license and DEA registration
- Compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations
