Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care

Chenango Memorial Hospital, part of the United Health Services system, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Walk-In Clinic in Norwich, NY. This position is ideal for an independent, confident provider with a strong background in urgent care, family practice, or emergency medicine.

You will join a team dedicated to providing high-quality, accessible care in a busy, community-focused clinic. The walk-in clinic sees a diverse range of non-emergency, acute conditions and offers an excellent work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient-centered care for walk-in patients of all ages with acute and episodic conditions.

• Collaborate with onsite staff and refer patients to appropriate specialists or emergency services as needed.

• Document patient encounters thoroughly and accurately in the EPIC EMR.

• Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM; and participation in Saturday rotation 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM; clinic is closed Sundays.

Qualifications:

• Current NYS licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in walk-in, urgent care, emergency, or family medicine required

• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Commitment to high-quality, compassionate patient care

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive part- time or full-time salary ranging from: $87,000 - $171,000 (commensurate with experience)
