Boone Hospital Center, a 392-bed full service hospital in Columbia, Missouri is seeking a Cardiologist - Outpatient Care. This role focuses on the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and longitudinal management of adult patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.

Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient evaluation and management of patients with coronary artery disease, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, valvular heart disease, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and other cardiovascular conditions.
- Deliver guideline-directed medical therapy and secondary prevention strategies.
- Interpret and integrate diagnostic testing including ECG, ambulatory monitoring, echocardiography, stress testing, and other noninvasive imaging modalities.
- Coordinate care transitions following hospital discharge, including timely follow-up for patients with recent acute coronary syndrome, heart failure exacerbation, or revascularization.
- Participate in multidisciplinary Heart Team discussions for complex coronary or valvular cases when indicated.
- Collaborate with primary care providers and advanced practice clinicians to optimize cardiovascular risk factor management and comorbidity care.
- Refer to cardiac rehabilitation and specialty services (e.g., electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, structural heart, heart failure, cardio-oncology) as appropriate.
- Provide patient-centered care through shared decision-making and individualized treatment planning.

Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
- Eligible for state medical licensure
- ACLS certification
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Commitment to team-based cardiovascular care
