Boone Hospital Center, a 392-bed, CMS 5-star, Magnet-designated hospital, is seeking a Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join our cardiovascular program in Columbia, Missouri.

Practice Highlights:
- Work closely with general cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, hospitalists, and advanced practice providers.
- Hospital-based electrophysiology laboratory and cardiovascular inpatient units.
- Outpatient clinic and device clinic settings.
- Participation in shared call rotation
- Support transitions of care and coordinated outpatient follow-up.
Responsibilities:
Clinical Care
- Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of patients with atrial and ventricular arrhythmias, syncope, inherited arrhythmia syndromes, and conduction system disease.
- Interpret ECGs, ambulatory monitoring, and device diagnostics.
- Manage antiarrhythmic pharmacotherapy and anticoagulation in accordance with contemporary guidelines.
- Provide inpatient consultative services and participate in call coverage for arrhythmia-related emergencies.
Procedural Responsibilities
- Perform invasive electrophysiology studies and catheter ablation procedures (e.g., atrial fibrillation, SVT, VT, PVC ablation).
- Implant, revise, and manage pacemakers, ICDs, CRT devices, and implantable loop recorders.
- Perform cardioversion and oversee device interrogations and programming.
- Participate in remote device monitoring and device clinic oversight.
- Recognize and manage procedural complications.

Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree.
- Board certification in Cardiovascular Disease.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
- Completion of accredited EP fellowship training.
- Eligible for medical licensure and hospital privileges.
