Physician - Rural Medicine

Scenic, quaint town in Northeast Kansas is seeking a family medicine physician to join our group practice. The clinic is a modern, lifestyle-oriented practice adjacent to a 21-bed critical access hospital.

Position highlights:

• Offering opportunity for OB, procedures, and minor surgery (dependent on training).
• The physician will practice in both Clinic, ER, and Hospital based service lines (adult, pediatric, and obstetric).
• Recently opened state-of-the-art Emergency Department and new OB suites.

• Relocation allowance up to $7,500
• Negotiable sign-on bonus half paid upon signing, other half following 30 days on the job (timing is also negotiable)

• 1-2-year guaranteed salary period, dependent on speed of patient panel increase. A production-based contract will replace the guaranteed compensation after 1-2 years or sooner if production exceeds guarantee.

Schedule:

• Full time M-F, with day off per week.
• M-F hours are 8:30 to 5:00.
• Overnight ER call for one weekday, if desired. One weekend out of five ER call.
• 4 weeks PTO (includes vacation, sick and holiday).
