Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Board Certification in Dermatology
• Active State Medical License in North Carolina
• DEA Certification
• Proven experience as a general dermatologist, preferably with Mohs surgery expertise
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), ideally EPIC
• Strong diagnostic and patient management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with skin of color, hyperpigmentation, and cosmetic dermatology procedures such as Botox, fillers, chemical peels, and microneedling
• Familiarity with EMR systems beyond EPIC
• Additional certifications related to dermatology procedures
• Bilingual abilities to serve diverse populations

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical dermatology experience, including hands-on procedures like Mohs surgery and EMR documentation
• Experience with high-volume patient care (30-40 patients daily) preferred

Other Requirements:

• Must be willing to obtain necessary licensure and certifications in North Carolina, including DEA registration
• Vaccinations as mandated by healthcare regulations
• Willingness to work night shifts (4 days/week, 10-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Ability to complete privileging within 60-90 days
• Willingness to consider licensing and travel arrangements if applicable

This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $269.10, complemented by comprehensive benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, medical coverage (W-2), referral bonuses, paid sick leave in accordance with applicable laws, and coverage for licensure, certification, travel, and other expenses when applicable.
