Join Our Esteemed Medical Team as a Urology Physician
Are you a dedicated Urology Physician passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a dynamic hospital setting? We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to provide specialized urological services during scheduled shifts, making a meaningful difference in patients' lives. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced physicians to contribute to a Level 4 trauma center, utilizing your expertise in general urological procedures and trauma care.
Required Skills:
- Board Certification in Urology
- Active State Medical License (or eligible via IMLC or WV temporary license)
- DEA certification
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in urology
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR system
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to perform all general urological procedures, including stent placements, stone removal, clot evacuation, and trauma-related interventions
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in trauma or emergency urology
- Additional certifications in advanced urological techniques
- Prior work in Level 4 trauma hospital environments
- Bilingual abilities
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- At least 2 years of post-residency clinical experience in urology
- Familiarity with hospital-based practice settings and trauma protocols
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to obtain WV temporary or full licensure
- Compliance with all credentialing requirements (approx. 60 days)
- Availability for scheduled shifts, including day-long 24-hour shifts
- Ability to support call coverage only, with no weekend clinic duties
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
This position offers an hourly pay rate of $3,120, along with comprehensive benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, medical benefits, referral bonus programs, paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws, and coverage of licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements as applicable. The shifts run from 7:00 AM Friday through 7:00 AM Monday, supporting 24-hour coverage during scheduled weekends.
