Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician to provide chart review and oversight for nurse practitioners (NPs) in South Carolina. The role involves reviewing approximately 50 charts per month with minimal clinical decision-making, primarily focusing on health risk assessments and data reporting for health plans. You will serve as a collaborative physician, ensuring quality and compliance without direct patient treatment or prescribing responsibilities. This position supports a seamless, remote oversight process, with communication primarily via email, designed for flexibility and professionalism.

Required Skills:

• Valid Medical License in South Carolina
• Proven experience in family practice or primary care medicine
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Ability to review charts efficiently and thoroughly
• Excellent communication skills via email and written reports
• Knowledge of healthcare documentation and reporting requirements

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in chart review or healthcare compliance
• Familiarity with health plan reporting and regulatory standards
• Experience working remotely or in telehealth environments

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Family Medicine or Primary Care
• Minimum of 3 years clinical practice experience

Other Requirements:

• Ability to adhere to scheduled work hours (Day shift, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday)
• Willingness to serve as a collaborative physician for 5 nurse practitioners in SC
• Availability to start on 03/23/2026 or as soon as credentialed
• No prescribing or direct treating involved; solely chart review and reporting
• Access to a reliable remote work setup
