Join Our Esteemed Medical Team as an Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN) physician to provide exceptional care in a dynamic hospital setting. This vital role involves delivering comprehensive women’s health services, managing high-risk deliveries, and performing emergent GYN procedures. The successful candidate will contribute to our mission of delivering top-quality healthcare through excellent clinical practice, teamwork, and unwavering commitment to patient well-being.

Required Skills:

• Active North Carolina Medical License and DEA Certification
• Current NC Medicaid, Medicare, and PECOS enrollment
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Proven experience in delivering babies, with recent case logs from the past 24 months
• Strong clinical skills in managing high-risk pregnancies and emergency GYN procedures
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment on a 24-hour call schedule
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with hospital-based delivery and surgical procedures
• Familiarity with Level 1 nursery operations
• Previous experience working with hospital support staff and on-call arrangements
• Knowledge of travel and reimbursement protocols

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice in obstetrics and gynecology
• Recent hospital-based delivery experience, including C-sections and labor management

Other Requirements:

• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
• Ability to travel within a 20-minute radius of hospital facilities
• Must provide detailed case logs, malpractice history, and disciplinary records in the application
• Must be enrolled with PECOS as a provider; travel costs will be capped at $500 for transportation reimbursement
• Provider will be on-call for emergent C-sections, vaginal deliveries, and GYN procedures at a facility with a Level 1 nursery and support staff on-site
