MultiCare Yakima Memorial is seeking a dedicated full-time Internal Medicine physician to join our vibrant IM clinic, MultiCare Memorial Cornerstone Medicine. Required Skills:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Valid state's medical license and board certification in Internal Medicine
- Proven experience or strong interest in primary care practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Additional certifications such as ACLS or BLS
- Experience managing chronic conditions like diabetes or endocrine disorders
- Familiarity with hospital or outpatient clinic workflows
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Completion of a Residency in Internal Medicine
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a primary care setting
- Prior experience working in a community healthcare environment
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start ASAP post-credentialing
- Willingness to work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with patient-facing hours and in-basket message coverage
- Capacity to see approximately 16 patients per day
- Ability to adapt to a team environment and utilize on-site resources such as labs, pharmacy, dietitians, and specialty services like GI and Endocrinology
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings
