Ascension St. Vincent Family Medicine Residency Program is seeking a part-time Family Medicine Board Certified Physician Faculty Member. This is a great teaching opportunity in an immersive academic atmosphere within the FM residency program. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior faculty member to learn outpatient staffing, resident teaching and formation and practice management from a team of experienced faculty.
Working at our Outpatient Clinic, the Primary Care Center, you become a part of something very special. This position is more flexible than your average clinical position. It is extremely rewarding to care for all persons - rich, poor, vulnerable, immigrant, refugee, coworker. In this work, you will be joining others with a similar mission and vision. You will primarily work with family medicine resident learners of different specialties and levels but may also encounter learners in every field from techs to nurses to pharmacists to medical students to develop your skills as a clinician, educator and mentor.
The provider must be willing to provide care to a panel of nursing home patients. Preference will be given to candidates who are able to provide prenatal care and staff in office procedures typical of FM (IUD, nexplanon, skin biopsy, joint injection, POCUS, etc).
