We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Gastroenterology Physician to provide expert inpatient services at Moses Cone Hospital. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient GI/Endo services, specializing in ERCP and EUS procedures.
- Support hospital staff with advanced endoscopic interventions.
- Cover designated shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with no weekend or night call duties.
- Work within the Epic EMR system, with preferred experience in documentation.
- Collaborate with a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) and hospital team to ensure seamless patient care.
Required Skills:
- Board certification in Gastroenterology.
- Valid state medical license and IMLC acceptance.
- Certification and experience in ERCP and EUS procedures.
- DEA license and vaccination compliance.
- Strong proficiency in endoscopic techniques and patient management.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Epic EMR documentation.
- Additional certifications related to advanced GI procedures.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with ERCP and EUS.
- Prior inpatient GI service experience is advantageous.
Other Requirements:
- Must obtain and maintain all necessary privileges and certifications.
- Eligibility for privileging within 60-90 days.
- Travel arrangements, including flight, rental car, and lodging, are provided when applicable.
- Willingness to license in the state and accept IMLC if applicable.
- Commitment to vaccination requirements.
This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $522.60, with weekly pay via direct deposit.
