Required Skills:

• Proven experience as a Physician Assistant in cardiology, preferably in inpatient settings
• Prior locum experience supporting cardiology teams
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR system
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to handle fast-paced environments with professionalism and precision

Nice to Have Skills:

• Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification
• Experience with other Electronic Medical Records (EMR) platforms
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Previous experience in hospital-based cardiology practice

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• NCCPA certification and state licensure in good standing
• At least 2 years of outpatient or inpatient cardiology experience
• Prior locums or temporary roles in a hospital setting

Other Requirements:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend shifts
• Commitment to adhering to all healthcare regulations and protocols
• Ability to travel and work at various hospital sites as needed
• Valid medical licensure and certifications applicable to the role
