What You’ll Do:

• Provide episodic care and injury treatment across a broad patient demographic, including adolescents, children, adults, and geriatrics.
• Work autonomously within a collaborative environment, with supervising physicians available for consultation via phone.
• Manage patient documentation efficiently using Anthem EMR, ensuring high standards of care and compliance.
• Travel reimbursement provided for local providers at the IRS standard mileage rate.

Required Skills:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Virginia.
• Proven experience in urgent care and occupational health settings.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and patient management skills.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with EMR systems, particularly Anthem.
• Skills in injury treatment and episodic care procedures.
• Additional certifications in urgent or occupational medicine.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner in urgent care or similar settings.

Other Requirements:

• Flexibility to cover ongoing, as-needed shifts starting from March 19, 2026.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS preferred.
• Ability to travel locally for in-person care as needed.
