Required Skills:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current Virginia state licensure
- Proven experience in Urgent Care and Occupational Health settings
- Strong clinical skills in episodic care and injury management
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Anthem
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Occupational Health documentation
- Bilingual abilities or additional language skills
- Familiarity with telehealth technologies
- CPR and AED certification
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN, DNP, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of urgent care or emergency medicine experience
- Prior locum or temporary staffing experience is advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Reliable transportation; mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate for local providers
- Availability for ongoing, as-needed coverage
- Ability to participate in periodic training or meetings via phone or virtual platform
