Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Locum Physician Assistant in an essential Urgent Care setting specializing in Occupational Health. This ongoing assignment offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality episodic and injury care to diverse patient populations, including adolescents, children, adults, and the geriatric demographic. Your expertise will directly contribute to timely and effective healthcare delivery in a collaborative environment where autonomy is valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide episodic care and injury treatment in an Urgent Care and Occupational Health setting.
  • Manage a wide range of patient cases across all age groups.
  • Work autonomously, with supervision available via phone from a supervising physician.
  • Document cases accurately within the Anthem EMR system.
  • Handle cases efficiently and professionally, ensuring patient satisfaction and positive health outcomes.

Required Skills:
  • Valid PA license and certification without restrictions.
  • Prior experience in Urgent Care and Occupational Health settings.
  • Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills.
  • Excellent communication and patient management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with Anthem EMR or similar digital documentation systems.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with injury management and episodic care.
  • Knowledge of local healthcare regulations and protocols.
  • Bilingual abilities or additional language skills.
  • Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or similar.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Urgent Care or related fields.
  • Prior locum experience is a plus but not required.

Other Requirements:
  • Availability to start on 03/19/2026 and work as needed.
  • Travel reimbursement for local providers billed at IRS Standard Rate.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Hourly Pay Rate: $117.00
