What You’ll Need:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Virginia
- Proven experience in Urgent Care and Occupational Health settings
- Ability to work autonomously, with supervision support available via phone
- Proficiency in episodic care, injury treatment, and handling diverse patient demographics (adolescents to geriatrics)
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
- Basic familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Anthem preferred
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience with occupational health documentation
- Knowledge of local insurance procedures and billing
- Additional certifications such as BLS or ACLS
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Nursing or higher
- Minimum of 2 years in Urgent Care or Occupational Health environments
Other Requirements:
- Reliable transportation for mileage reimbursement at IRS standard rate (local providers only)
- Availability to cover ongoing, as-needed shifts starting from March 19, 2026
- Ability to maintain compliance with all applicable state, federal, and local regulations
This position offers an hourly pay rate of $100.50, paid weekly via direct deposit.
