Indiana University Health Medical Group Department of Neurological Surgery, in partnership with Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking a Functional/Stereotactical Neurosurgeon to join our academic division in Indianapolis, Indiana.
This Faculty position requires expertise in epilepsy surgery, depth electrodes, intrathecal pumps, and spinal cord stimulators and complex peripheral nerve.
Position Details:
- Primary duties include participation in and expansion of established comprehensive Functional and Stereotactic neurological surgery
- Leadership position and duties include program building; direct clinical care; and teaching of residents, fellows, and medical students
- Lead the multidisciplinary comprehensive Functional and Stereotactic Center, engage in academic pursuits and perform clinical research, maintain current funding, and secure future funding
Schedule:
- Call rotation with adult Neurosurgeons (generally 4-5 days per month)
- Outpatient clinic coverage at Goodman Hall, IU Health Methodist Hospital and the Indianapolis VA Hospital
Qualifications:
- American Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurosurgery
