St. Peters Health Partners Medical Associates is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to support our Breast Surgery team at St. Peters Hospital in Albany, NY. Position Details:
- First assist in the OR alongside Breast Surgeons
- Blend of operating room responsibilities and office-based clinical care
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient education and care coordination
- Support patient admissions, discharge planning, and follow-up care
- Shared rotational evening and weekend telephone call

Candidate Requirements:
Applicants should have the following:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- NYS license
- At least one year of surgical experience required, preferably in breast surgery.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Recruitment Package:
St. Peters Health Partners offers a comprehensive salary and compensation package that includes:
- Competitive base salary range $138,811-$151,304 commensurate with experience
- $5,000 starting bonus paid in first payroll month
- The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
