Join Our Team as an Electrophysiology Physician – Make a Difference in Cardiac Care
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Electrophysiology Physician to deliver exceptional inpatient cardiac care within a dynamic hospital setting. This pivotal role involves performing advanced electrophysiological procedures, including device implants and ablative therapies, to improve patient outcomes. Required Skills:
- Board Certification in Electrophysiology (BC)
- Active Tennessee State Medical License
- Minimum of 2 years of post-training experience in electrophysiology
- Proficiency in implantable cardiac devices, ablative therapies, and electrophysiology mapping systems (CARTO, Abbott, Opal HDx)
- BLS and ACLS Certifications
- DEA registration (or eligible for exemption)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hospital environment
- Clean background and recent background check
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with in-room procedural sedation
- Familiarity with implantable loop recorders and cardioversion procedures
- Additional certifications in advanced cardiac therapies or related fields
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Up-to-date board certification in Electrophysiology
- Proven experience in inpatient electrophysiology and device implantation
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work hourly shifts with weekend and call duties
- Availability for credentialing within 60-90 days
- No travel licensing requirements; flights, mileage, or rental cars are billable
- Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday, approximately 7am-6pm, with weekend and evening call as scheduled
- Support staff includes an Electrophysiology APP to assist with hospital services
This role offers an attractive hourly rate of $429.00, complemented by additional compensation for pager and weekend call responsibilities, ensuring a rewarding and lucrative engagement.
