Physician - Gastroenterology

Required Skills:

• Board Certification (BE or BC) in Gastroenterology
• Valid Pennsylvania State Medical License
• DEA Certification
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience
• Proficiency in procedures and call coverage
• Strong patient engagement and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with onsite anesthesiology team

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records
• Prior experience in high-acuity hospital settings
• Familiarity with compliance and credentialing processes
• Multispecialty collaboration skills

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of residency and fellowship in Gastroenterology
• One or more years of hospital-based practice experience

Other Requirements:

• Availability for 7-day blocks including weekends
• Participation in 24-hour call rotations (7 am Monday to 7 am Tuesday)
• Work schedule includes 10-hour days, with optional OR starting at 7:30 am
• Support staff includes onsite anesthesiology
• EMR system: EPIC
• Hospital bed size: 593 beds
• Travel and licensure reimbursements provided where applicable
