Required Skills:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology (BC or BE)
• Valid PA Medical License
• DEA Certification
• BLS and ACLS Certifications
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in gastroenterology
• Proficiency in performing outpatient and inpatient procedures
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a hospital environment with a focus on patient-centered care

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with EPIC EMR system
• Familiarity with complex procedures such as ERCP or EUS
• Prior experience in a hospital-based gastroenterology practice
• Bilingual abilities or additional language skills

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Residency and fellowship training in gastroenterology
• At least 1 year of relevant clinical practice, preferably in a hospital setting

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including 24-hour call shifts (Friday 5 pm – Friday 5 pm)
• Willingness to travel for credentialing and licensing if necessary
• Compliance with hospital policies and infection control standards
• Must meet credentialing requirements, with a timeframe of approximately 90 days for approval
