Greenberg-Larraby, Inc. (GLI) is actively seeking a Nuclear Medicine Physician to join their distinguished healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing and interpreting nuclear medicine diagnostic studies and therapeutic procedures to support patient diagnosis and treatment.

The role involves utilizing advanced imaging techniques, administering radiopharmaceuticals safely, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and providing expert consultation to optimize patient outcomes.

This position is based in Lexington, KY.

Schedule and Continuity of Care:

This opportunity is structured around a continuity-of-care model, ensuring consistent coverage while offering flexibility in scheduling. The role supports both therapeutic (AU-required) services and diagnostic interpretation (reads) within a collaborative clinical environment.

Schedule:

  • Part-time, flexible schedule aligned with service needs and continuity of care.
  • Hybrid model available, including a combination of on-site coverage (for AU-required procedures) and remote diagnostic interpretation (reads)
  • Coverage-based structure designed to support continuity of care
  • On-call responsibilities may be required based on coverage needs

Requirements

Responsibilities:

    • Interpret nuclear medicine studies and provide timely, accurate reports
    • Perform and oversee therapeutic procedures requiring Authorized User (AU) designation
    • Provide consultative support to clinical teams
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health record systems
    • Ensure compliance with radiation safety and regulatory requirements
    • Support continuity of care and consistent service delivery

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Active and unrestricted ANY State medical license to practice in the United States.
  • U.S. Citizenship required or Green Card required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment.
  • DEA license and successful completion of background checks.
