Physician - Neurology

We are seeking a highly skilled Neurology Physician to provide exceptional neurological care in a dynamic hospital setting. This vital role offers the chance to work within a comprehensive stroke facility, supporting a diverse patient population while collaborating with a dedicated team of advanced practice providers. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide consultation and treatment for adult patients (18+) with neurological conditions.
• Support clinical staff with both onsite and tele-neurology services, including stroke calls and general neurology consults.
• Maintain high-quality patient care, managing up to 12 patients per day during scheduled shifts.
• Collaborate with APPs and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management.
• Document patient encounters efficiently using the EPIC EMR system.

Required Skills:

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Neurology (BC or BE).
• Valid PA license and DEA certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience.
• Strong diagnostic and patient management skills for adult neurological conditions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in a comprehensive stroke center.
• Comfortable with tele-neurology consultations.
• Additional certifications related to stroke or neurocritical care.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• At least 1 year of post-residency practice in neurology.

Other Requirements:

• License active and in good standing; temporary license options available upon review.
• Ability to work day shifts (08:00 - 17:00) on a rotating basis as needed.
• Willingness to work 1-2 weeks per month, supporting staffing needs in a busy hospital environment.
