  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts; combination of days/nights/weekends

Requirements

  • APPs: Board certified in specialty prior to employment
  • Requirement for NPs: AGACNP or ACNP
  • Requirement for PAs: NCCPA certification
  • Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA license
  • BLS certification (must be maintained)/ ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)
  • Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

  • Providing direct patient care
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Participating in teaching and mentoring
  • Documenting in Epic EMR
  • Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
  • Supporting community health efforts
