We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Electrophysiology Physician to join our leading healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cardiac electrophysiology procedures, including heart rhythm disturbance evaluations and ablations.
- Conduct EP cases with proficiency in using Abbott Ensite-X Mapping systems.
- Manage moderate sedation independently for procedures such as TEEs and ablations.
- Support hospital consults and provide expert care to adult patients in a dynamic hospital setting.
- Ensure compliance with certification, licensing, and hospital policies.
- Document procedures thoroughly within Cerner EMR system.
Required Skills:
- Board Certification (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Cardiology or Electrophysiology.
- AZ medical license (or eligible to license).
- Minimum of 1 year of electrophysiology procedural experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Ablations and EP case management, with at least 100 EP cases logged in the past two years.
- Ability to perform moderate sedation confidently and independently.
- Strong understanding of heart rhythm disturbances and device management.
- Excellent communication skills and focus on patient-centered care.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Abbott Ensite-X mapping and other advanced EP technology.
- Previous experience in hospital and outpatient clinic settings.
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR and hospital workflows.
- Additional certifications such as ACLS.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Residency and fellowship training in Cardiology and Electrophysiology.
- At least one year of post-fellowship clinical electrophysiology practice.
Other Requirements:
- AZ Registered DEA License.
- Willingness to work scheduled shifts from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm with potential for overtime at 1.5x pay, including holiday premiums.
- Ability to accommodate a 30-day credentialing process.
- Availability to start on April 27, 2026, with an ongoing contract in a hospital setting; shifts include scheduled holidays and complex cases.
