Nurse Practitioner - Internal Medicine

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician led and accountable 650+ provider multi-specialty group practice that has an excellent opportunity for a full time Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to support two complementary areas of care: the Anchor Clinic and the Saint Alphonsus Health Alliances Pre-Visit Planning (PVP) chart preparation workflow. This Advanced Practice Provider role will be based within the brand-new Caldwell Health Plaza. 

The Caldwell Health Plaza opened last fall and is now a vibrant, fully operational, state-of-the-art 60,000+ sq ft facility. The Health Plaza serves the community members seeking wellness, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation in a convenient and accessible environment, located directly off I-84. With comprehensive healthcare services offered for the whole family, it offers a multitude of services in one convenient location including: Extended Hours Urgent Care, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Occupational  Medicine, Diabetes Care & Education, Sleep Medicine, Orthopedics, Heart Care, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Podiatry, MFM, ENT and onsite Lab, X-ray, and ultrasound. The schedule for this opportunity is Clinical: 2 days per week, totaling 18 patient contact hours & Administrative: 2 days per week devoted to Pre Visit Planning activities. No call required. 

Requirements:

• Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner medical license in Idaho; Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA
• A strong medical background and a desire to provide acute care to support a growing multi-specialty medical group. In providing this support, you will obtain an Idaho medical licensure to maintain and strengthen the Health System's general internal program across all communities we serve.
• High competency in clinical documentation, chart review, and identifying diagnosis gaps
