Join Ascension Via Christi as a Nurse Practitioner in Weight Management and help patients transform their health through compassionate, evidence-based care. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by guiding patients toward sustainable lifestyle changes and long-term wellness.

  • Join an experienced. collaborative clinical team
  • Call structure: No call required
  • Practice setting: Outpatient specialty practice focused on obesity and metabolic health
  • Access to Body composition analysis devices and on-site nutrition counseling and group education programs
  • Employed position within a nonprofit health system
  • Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
  • Evaluate and manage patients with obesity and related metabolic conditions
  • Develop individualized treatment plans including medical management and lifestyle modification

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Certified Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing preferred.

Education:

  • Master's degree of Nursing required.
