Job Title: Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician

Required Skills:

• Valid and active medical license in the state of Mississippi or eligibility to obtain one
• Board certification or eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R)
• Proven experience in inpatient rehabilitation or similar settings
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records, specifically EPIC
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to adhere to healthcare regulations and hospital policies

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in senior leadership or medical director roles
• Familiarity with healthcare quality metrics and compliance standards
• Additional certifications in pain management or neurology
• Bilingual abilities or additional language skills

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 3 years recent experience in PM&R practice, preferably in a hospital or rehabilitation setting

Other Requirements:

• Active Mississippi medical license or eligibility for licensure
• Willingness to participate in weekend and night call rotations
• Commitment to maintaining a clean professional history
• Ability to work with the hospital's standard schedule and adhere to documentation protocols
