We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Electrophysiology Physician Assistant to join our dynamic cardiology team. In this critical role, you'll work alongside experienced clinicians in a bustling hospital environment, providing top-tier electrophysiology services to a diverse patient population. Required Skills:

  • Certification as a Physician Assistant with Board Certification (Family Medicine preferred but specialty-specific certifications accepted)
  • Valid Physician Assistant license and DEA registration
  • ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Proficiency in cardiology, electrophysiology, and interventional procedures
  • Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Competence with EMR systems, particularly EPIC
  • Flexibility to operate in both hospital and outpatient settings

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with Pacemaker and ICD implantations, ablations, and device explant procedures
  • Previous experience in electrophysiology or interventional cardiology
  • Familiarity with hospital workflows and multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Additional certifications or training in advanced cardiac life support

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Completion of accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Prior experience in cardiac electrophysiology or interventional cardiology, ideally 2+ years
  • Experience working with EPIC EMR system is advantageous

Other Requirements:
  • Full-time availability (Monday-Thursday, 8 am - 6 pm, flexible schedule)
  • Ability to see approximately 18 patients per day, aged 18-100
  • Willingness to support post-operative care and procedures at any point during patient recovery
  • Travel reimbursements, licensure, certification, and other applicable reimbursements provided
  • Credentialing process expected within 90 days; temps available with a clean file
